Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 1
  1. so no shows for three days
    and hopefully some new surprises
    until then
meanwhile im getting off the net
    going to bed
    and listening to the radio

  2. Amazing. Finally after all my shows I got to hear it. Great moment and crowd was on point in the outro!!
  3. Nice Black Dog snippet in Bullet.

For me BTBS is definitely the highlight of the tour so far. The only thing that could improve it is Edges bluesy solo from the Vertigo tour.

This was my very first U2 concert, possibly first concert ever in my life! I was singing, dancing, jumping, clapping, even crying at points. And all who I could see around me was either drunk / high people, looking at their phones or just standing still!! Even during Streets! Friggin' WHERE THE STREETS HAVE NO NAME. Heck, there was even this drunk guy that came around and my friend and I noticed him right away! Thank goodness he didn't start up too much trouble or even came to us. What bothered me more was just the lack of sensitivity from this crowd. You're in one of the most legendary venues in the world with one of the biggest bands in the world. Why waste so much of your time taking pic after pic after pic, just stand there and not enjoy the moment. I'm sure there's MILLIONS of fans who wanted to be at this show but couldn't and they would KILL to be in your position!

I'm sorry. Maybe it's the concert newbie in me, but those factors REALLY BUGGED ME AND GOT UNDER MY SKIN!

    BUT WITH THAT SAID....

I STILL LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF TONIGHT!!!!

I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THE FEELING, SEEING BONO ARRIVE ON THE E STAGE, SEEING HIM FOR MY OWN EYES, WAS SIMPLY EMOTIONAL FOR ME. AS WELL AS THE REST OF THE BAND. EVEN THOUGH I NEVER GOT ON STAGE WITH THEM, THE SHEER INTIMACY OF THIS TOUR MAKES IT SO MUCH SO THAT NO MATTER WHAT, YOU'LL SEE THEM. THEY'RE RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. LUCEIFERS HANDS WAS PLAYED, AS WELL AS SWEETEST THING. MY FRIEND ESPECALLY GUSHED AT THAT. BUT WHEN STREETS CAME ON....I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THE DRUNK PEOPLE, THE STATIC PEOPLE OR EVEN IF I MADE AN IDIOT OF MYSELF. I CRIED, I SANG, I CLAPPED AND DID TRY TO DANCE. IT WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER IF EVERYONE JUMPED UP AND DOWN, DANCED, ETC AS OPPOSED TO STANDING STILL! BUT IT DIDN'T MATTER TO ME. I WAS IN HEAVEN WHEN EDGE MADE THOSE OPENING NOTES.

OVERALL, 4.9 / 5 FOR THIS SHOW. THE CROWD (NOT ALL OF THEM) KINDA MADE IT A LESS THAN IDEAL EXPERIENCE BUT THE BAND'S MUSIC PULLED THOUGH!

THANK YOU REMY AND EVERYONE OF U2START. THIS IS A NIGHT I WILL NEVER, EVER FORGET!

P.S.-MY KEYBOARD GOT HAYWIRE, HENCE WHY THE LETTERS ARE CAPATALIZED.

    P.S.S.-IS THE BOOTLEG OUT YET?

    P.S.S.S.-My ears are still ringing.

Great stuff Pedro! Glad you loved your first U2 show! Yeah my ears are still ringing too despite the ear plugs I wore. It was loud.

I also could tell the GA is not the best place for good sound, as others have noticed too. It's good though.

You reckon this is American audience? Let's see. I'm sure the phone thing is the same in Europe but if there will be less drunk and stoned people I'm already happier. Bring it on, Europe leg!

Seats last night and the sound was crystal
Clea. In GA it was over loud and muddy BUT the experience of being a couple of feet from Bono and the people around me more than made up for it. I have some great pics from n3 but can't post. I can text or email to some one to post if possible.
  8. Yeah it was the absolute highlight of the show. Very long outro too. Superb!
  9. I don't know what to do. Have n8 but now I'm thinking about 5,6,7. If only money DID grow on trees.

Yeah I would always prefer GA, although I'll have two shows with seats, will be nice sound-wise then.

You can send your pics to me if you want: remy at u2start.com
  11. After reading the last couple pages of this thread, I'd like to bring up that I think Bono is aware of the phone issue:

A jazz man breathes into a saxophone
While everybody stares at their cellphone
  12. U2 makes you greedy!
