  1. No worries. I get it... Thing about us 'Mericans... there's a little bit of all of them in all of us somewhere down the line!

The Irish have been coming here for years
Acting like they own the place
They got the airport, city hall, concrete, asphalt
    They even got the police

All good everyone thank you! Just had such a positive great experience at the last 4 shows. Managed to avoided all the assholes and met some truly great fans from all over the world. From philly to Madrid to Australia !
  3. I'm sure it's just the lighting but for some reason Bono's face looks horrifying in the picture that Jimmy shows near the end.
  4. part lighting, part not used to seeing him with no shades!

Same here! I'm sure it's the same everywhere, you also have to be a bit lucky sometimes where you end up. Met some great people as well the past few days, almost everyone from the U2start meetup I saw in or outside the arena as well.

Fans really came from all over the place to NY, reminded me a bit of Dublin 2009.

All you European brothers & sisters are just so damn polite!
  7. Hey guys! It's been a long time since I posted here. I went away for a while when news dried up and decided I would go spoiler free until I got to see them play. Well, I was at MSG nights 3 & 4 and I was blown away. Two amazing concerts. The Jimmy Fallon and Roots moments were great, I loved the stage, and hearing songs live I hadn't heard before like Electric Co, The Sweetest Thing, and Out of Control made both nights special.

Because I haven't been on any U2 sights since the tour started, I haven't seen the reactions, but I did have two small complaints. I was shocked at how little the set list has changed night after night. I feel like they changed up arena set lists a decent amount in the past, but there definitely don't change up much this time around. The second complaint is pretty selfish, but I am disappointed they didn't play Bad either night. I still haven't seen it live, and it's my favorite song, so I'm kinda disappointed I missed it by one show.

Overall, those are very small complaints in the face of two great concerts. I hop they come back next year and I get to see them.

And it great to see so many familiar names still posting up here. I'm looking forward to listening to earlier bootlegs from the tour.
  8. Haven't been following these shows much, but enough to realize that U2 aren't changing it up and throwing oddballs in there nearly as much as we'd hoped.
  9. U2 are a safe band now.
  10. I can't believe Jimmy almost wasn't on stage for Desire because Bono was too busy Bono-ing!
