1. You can click on it, it's just Sergio pulling your leg.
  2. Last go at making a setlist before the tour begins. I'm going for one that I'd like to see rather than expect to see.

    1. 11 o'clock tick tock
    2. Out Of Control
    3. An Cat Dubh/ Into The Heart
    4. New Years Day
    5. A Sort Of Homecoming
    6. Bad
    7-17 The Joshua Tree

    Encore 1
    18. Heartland
    19. Angel Of Harlem
    20. All I Want Is You

    Encore 2
    21. Zoo Station
    22. The Fly
    23. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    24. 40
  3. Go on then...

    Joshua Tree in Sequence

    Desire
    I Will Follow
    Vertigo
    One
    Mysterious Ways
    Beautiful Day
    Sunday
    Every Breaking (Bono and Edge)
    Pride
    Bad
    40
  4. Here is my best guess at the setlist for the coming tour, with variants for cities with 2 shows:

01.) Out of Control (I Will Follow for Nite 2)
    02.) October
    03.) New Year's Day
    04.) Sunday Bloody Sunday
    05.) Pride
    06.) Bad
    -
07.) Where the Streets Have No Name
    08.) I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    09.) With or Without You
    10.) Bullet the Blue Sky
    11.) Running to Stand Still
    12.) Red Hill Mining Town
    13.) In God's Country
    14.) Trip Through Your Wires
    15.) One Tree Hill
    16.) Exit
    17.) Mother's of the Disappeared
    -
    18.) Desire
19.) The Fly (Until the End of the World for Nite 2)
    20.) One
    -
    21.) SoE Song
22.) Every Breaking Wave (Starring at the Sun or Stay for Nite 2)
23.) Beautiful Day (City of Blinding Lights or Vertigo for Nite 2)
24.) "40" (Moment of Surrender for Nite 2)

I would love to hear more surprises, but I don't expect that to happen. I would also like to hear some 'POP' since it is the 20 year anniversary of the album, but I don't see how it will fit. My guess is it will get its recognition during the SoE portion of the i & e tour (when it resumes - next year?).
  5. I will be pulling for JT in sequence and in the middle of the show. I do hope the idea that the songs will be more focused on that era, with some hits, comes true. My dreams are like so many others...Acrobat, other War tracks like Like a Song (a personal fav) or Seconds (no chance), Edge giving a snippet of Van Diemen's Land, All I Want is You...etc. But I think we will get a bit of a history lesson into the album followed by a regular mini-U2 hits show and maybe a nice goodnight like "40" for the nostalgia of it. Which I'd be fine with...just getting the Joshua Tree means we are getting 5 deep cuts. I am not going to complain if they play their regulars around it, but I would be blown away if they make the lead in set full of 80's stuff as a primer of sorts.
  6. Spanish Eyes please

I like your option a lot, I don't think it's really doable since there's no way they'll leave out Vertigo or I Will Follow from first nights... but I like it a lot.

opening an encore with a SOE song is the ultimate pipe dream

Put uteofw, before new year's day
  10. How likely are we to hear new years day more regularly on this tour?
  11. I think it has a good chance of showing up at every stop on the tour, maybe not both nights for some places but why not? It's a great song that fits in well with the tour and has been quite underplayed in recent years.
