btw, I said that I wanted one angry song, and then I said I didn't got my descendant of Cedarwood and Bullet... well, obviously I was wrong. Between the sampled riff and the more uplifting coda, I totally forgot about this one.

This one (specially minus the coda) works good enough as the angry song I wanted.
Indeed. Lights Of Home is the twin brother of Cedarwood Road*. Maybe that's why I love it so much.

*Even the doubled acoustic+electric guitar on the main riff!
  2. The string version reminds me of:

  3. that song need to be the next single!
  4. Ha, Facebook already recognises (and tehrefore blocks) my lyric video

  5. I have mixed some of the St Peter's Strings version with the regular album version, and I cut the "free yourself" final coda which ruins the song in my humble opinion.

  6. This song is really growing on me - both versions, verse, chorus, coda, the whole lot
  7. Totally disagree. It makes the song real. To me it means being honest with yourself and others about who you are. Don’t live in secret.
  8. The thing I really love about this song is how well it fits after the first song.
From an atmospheric "Love is all we have left..." to raging guitar and "I shouldn't be here cos I should be deaaaad"

Such a strong intro. The rest of the song doesn't do a lot for me a part from that very good solo which fits perfectly. Not a big fan of Cedarwood Road and such songs anyway so...
  9. Decent Edge on this track.

Wish he could standout a'bit more though. Seems like the album is more drum and bass, which no doubt sounds great though!

I agree with this disagreement. I love that part, LOVE it. It takes the track from being cool and great to "wow".
  11. Section just before the chorus = Violet Hill (Coldplay)

Decent Edge also can be heard on Summer of Love and Red Flag Day.
LOH deserves to be a single, with a videoclip like Last Night On Earth
