    I didn't have time to read teh book and to answer your e-mail because the recent air disaster here...I'm trying to be happy again...but it's difficult for me because I know that every single plane crash can or could be avoided...but I love the book and I'm sure that the book will make me happy again...and you and u2start too of course!

    2 days ago we have here at Sao Paulo the biggest air disaster of Brazil's history.A plane of TAM Airlines (my favourite airline) was trying to land at Congonhas airport (buyiest of Brazil,localized in the dowtown of Sao Paulo) and teh plane couldn't stop and hit a TAM building and a gas station near to the airport...really really sad...at least 200 victims
    I felt very veyr sad those days,but now I'm fine...U2BYU2,U2start and of course my friends,including you make me happy

    And don't thank me for those words, they came very naturally. I felt them inside and I told them.

  11. Hello friends! Sorry to resurrect this topic, but I have not found another topic more specific. I need some help to get a doubt.

    I am translating the book "At The End" into Portuguese. We have 40 chapters, which I'm reviewing.

    In chapter 1 (page 7) there is a passage that says: A division is quickly established between the Hats, Edge and Bono, and the Haircuts, Larry and Adam. Lanois, who became almost a fifth number of U2 on Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree, is clearly leaning towards the Haircut position, which only makes Bono and Edge more defensive. Lanois's attitude is: You can only be what you are and we know what U2 is. Why try to pretend to be something else?

    What exactly does the expression "Haircuts" mean and why were they called that? Can you help me, please?
