Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 79
  1. Hurray for the Irony to be still passionatly fans of those reapeating punks..?

I have a feeling Red Flag Day will turn up in Europe if it doesn’t in America because the topic is more immediate over the pond. Over here, we know there’s a refugee crisis, but we don’t see it as up close as Europeans do
  3. As long as ACROBAT ( my all time favourite song ) is in the set list, I don't have any problem with rest of the songs in the set.
  4. If they can do it..
  5. Any rehearsal yesterday ?
  6. That is amazing.

I have to say though that this is probably one of the best tribute bands out there. They also have stunning versions of Acrobat, Wild Horses, Homecoming. I would maybe turn it around and say that they are better able to play some U2 tunes live than U2 would.

Yeah, that sounds really good. Good voice !!
  8. Just wanted to share a thought on what I think would be a great idea in the Setlist, i’m aware its never going to happen though. I think it would be cool if along with maybe 3 rotations from one show to the next which remain pretty fixed they also had 1 new song every single show. So 1 slot that never had a repeated song, you could get seconds or you could get New York or dirty day. Nobody gets all the rarities but everybody gets 1. I know it would be a lot of songs over the course of the tour but if the rest of the Setlist remained pretty fixed I think it would be very possible and if you were the type of person that went to a lot of shows it would make it exciting every night. Has any artist ever tried it?

Very cool idea. I'd rather hear a sloppy version of Seconds then never hear it. And yeah, you could say "yeah I saw that at such and such a gig" and it's a bit of incentive for the die-hards to do the 2-show gig (which we're doing anyways....at least those who get a U2 show this time....hello Toronto....the Leafs are done, we have the space now!"). It would be tough for them to rehearse given their desire for perfection. Though to repeat, a sloppy version to many is better than no version. To the casual, it's the 'I'm gonna go get a beer" song (aka Bullet for me). Either way, the rarities are very cool. For me, I never thought I'd get to hear Party Girl
  10. I don't like sloppy versions, except for very few exceptions, such as Cologne 2001, when Bono sang a few verses of "Hawkmoon 269".

I still don't get it why they did so many sloppy versions of "Party Girl", a song that is quite easy to play on any instrument they normally have on stage.

If you look at their repertoire, it's pretty sad, what U2 is capable to deliver these days. U2 are lazy as fuck!
