  2. I've been looking forward to this one, closes the US leg
And Uncasville! Love that name / venue choice
I think this may be a classic show
  3. Put me down for places I've never heard of before. This tour has passed me by without tugging at my heart strings. Hoping for a different vibe for Europe. Enjoy the show folks.

+1 from Put to Folks. Least remarkable leg for me since I actively follow this band - and TJT30 had already set the bar quite high!

It might be indeed...perhaps U2's last show on American soil...

And, if I am informed correctly, it would then have been on Native American soil, right? Not that Natives care: for them ALL soil is native to all people, and all people are native to all of the Earth

Wow, perhaps U2's last show on American soil... that is hard to swallow and assimilate. It might very well be true if the omens are true and this is actually their non-announced farewell tour
  7. Exactly, when was the last time they finished a tour in Dublin??? Definitely a 4 night farewell.
  8. At the last Philly show, after LIBTAIIW, Bono said: "I don't know when you see us again […], we may not be back for a while..."

This doesn't have to mean anything, really, but I don't take it for granted that they follow the same path as The Rolling Stones. Maybe they will once more "dream it all up again," and maybe they come back for a "Farewell Tour," who knows, but, yeah, this could also be their last...

I was just about to post something about bono saying that at a show, I couldn’t remember which one but you’ve saved me the post. The fact I’m not I’m the slightest worried about this being there last tour confirms to me how unlikely I think it is. I think the band will have a plan in place to continue perhaps after a bit of a break, I know factors can cause a plan to change but I’ve got no doubt there intention at least is to release more new music and play more tours in the future.
  10. You're getting me pumped! Definitely the shows to be at this tour!

PS. IE was meant to finish in Dublin, but the Paris attacks messed these plans up. Let's hope nothing happens this time
  11. Thats the reason why I bought tickets for 5 shows this tour, because SOE is such a good ending to their career I can't really imagine it being anything else.

The selfish side of me wants them to retire after this tour, so I can say I was at their last ever show (Dublin 4). However the realistic side of me would be utterly heartbroken, as I want them to keep on going!
