Years later one day, I listened to it and heard something I had not heard before : starting from the second chorus, there's this synth in the background playing simple notes/chords in addition to Edge's riff. And for some reason, right at that moment, I got the song. It's like if the synth made me understand what the emotion the song actually tries to convey really is, something epic and grand, while I thought of it as just a regular pop love song before. Since then, it's become one of my favorite.

NLotH still my favorite track on the album, so I'm willing to die on its hill any day

NLotH is decent as the album version, but has always seemed to be lacking the punch it needed. NLotH2 (or whatever they called it) from the Deluxe Edition had that missing kick and I absolutely love that version. Wish it’d been on the album.

I seem to be one of the only ones that disagrees and prefers the album cut, but I do really enjoy both

A mistake or something unfinished like Pop

Boots like Do You feel loved : crap
Fez/being born like Please : diamond
