1. I remember back when it came out and was played all the time on the radio, I really didn't like Magnificent. I didn't know why, no particular reason.

Years later one day, I listened to it and heard something I had not heard before : starting from the second chorus, there's this synth in the background playing simple notes/chords in addition to Edge's riff. And for some reason, right at that moment, I got the song. It's like if the synth made me understand what the emotion the song actually tries to convey really is, something epic and grand, while I thought of it as just a regular pop love song before. Since then, it's become one of my favorite.
  2. Magnificent has been stuck in my head now for the better part of 10 years.

It came alive for me when I went to 360.
  4. I didn't get the chance to, but also that remixed version they played in 2011 is so good, I love both.
  5. NLotH is decent as the album version, but has always seemed to be lacking the punch it needed. NLotH2 (or whatever they called it) from the Deluxe Edition had that missing kick and I absolutely love that version. Wish it’d been on the album.

I seem to be one of the only ones that disagrees and prefers the album cut, but I do really enjoy both

That’s fair. Either way, it’s a rocking tune. Definitely one of the best on the album, up there with MoS, Fez, and Cedars.
  8. I consider NoLine an album of “passage”
A mistake or something unfinished like Pop
It didn’t remain in my heart or between my favs
Like Pop it has got some shit and some diamonds
Boots like Do You feel loved : crap
Fez/being born like Please : diamond
    Vote : 6

Both albums are much better than two between them... Pop is no. 1 for me and NLOTH is in top 7...

At first I loved version2 more because it was out first (Boots b-side), but later started to love album version too... now I prefer live version,it's something in between...
  11. If Boots wasn’t the lead single, with all that eyeliner crap and the dodgy performances on Brit Awards, etc. then I think it would have sat better with me.

I agree with someone who posted earlier that the layout was all wrong, if Fez would have kicked it off (Morocco vibe) then leading into Breathe then think it would have been better.

There was something missing from both Nloth and nolth2 songs. An essential ingredient or element. The live version I also felt was over hyped by fans. The weakest of the album live tracks. UC, Crazy, Boots and Magnificent were all 10/10 live.
