  1. Hi!

As it is going to be a lottery, and code allows to buy up to 4 tickets - anyone willing to share their chances?
I'm gonna need 2 tickets for 05 Dec show - but could buy 4 (preferably standing/forward) and then sell them for original price (or whatever my bank will charge for exchange rate).
Anyone interested to go this way (assuming it will work both way, so I will buy back someone's 2 'spare' tickets)?

    Thanks! Tom

but...what are the odds that even if i'm in the red hill group , I won't be able to get two tickets... ?

I have two active red hill group accounts and I could try with both of them , but there's a chance that i will end up with more tickets that I actually need...damn...

I think anyone in the Red Hill group will get tickets, unless demand exceeds supply which is unlikely for the first presale. However we don’t know the allocation for presales so its guesswork.

The only real probable reason for your order to not go through is if your creditcard is declined. Remember they only charge this after a few days.
If it doesn’t work, no tickets. No chance to retry.

I think the lottery here only applies to two things: one is the order of tickets. Remember that all tickets will be numbered which determines your order to get into the venue. This might be lottery based.

Second is if demand exceeds supply. Then they’ll do some lottery to see who’s in and who’s out.

If you don’t care about where you are in GA it might boosten your odds to choose for “GA back”, which is cheaper anyway. Far less GA-ers will go for these tickets.
  3. I'm a bit confused with the presale starting at 12pm. Is this midnight or noon?
Do you perhaps know when will the presale start here in Europe (CET)? I have a Red hill code and my friend Wire.
  4. Also, apparently, Red Hill and Wires are all mixed together on this one. Everyone in one presale.
  5. But they decide applications on what group you're in.

Red Hill = higher chance of success?
  6. Now that will make it a lot tougher for Red Hills

That's probably just the start of the application window. In Japan usually you get a few days to apply, before the lottery results are announced. It doesn't matter if you apply first, in the middle or last, as long as it is before the application deadline.

I guess that's also what they'll do in Korea.
  8. Are you sure the lottery system applies to the U2.com presale? Is it not just for the regular sale after presale?
  9. They don't, as far as I understand. Its all the same.
  10. Yes. You send in an application, and then you hear whether you got the ticket later. However, as U2.com presale member you have a priority here so in most cases that should all be fine..

(except of course when they can't charge your creditcard)
