  1. Thanks for sharing Jick.

  2. Here's an updated pic in perspective. It helps that I have this shot of Philippine Arena with a basketball court whose dimensions are known, and the JT Tour screen whose dimensions are known too. So this is as close to scale and perspective as can be. Hope this helps.

Nice pic! That GA section is sooo tempting .
  4. Thanks Jick. GA is so good here and very cheap. the question now is are We getting new presale code for Manila? I already used my code for Korea tickets not knowing they will Play here in my home Country.

Nope. But if you used it for less than 4 tickets, you can still use your existing code to buy tickets up to what you have left in your 4-ticket allocation.

Sad to Hear that. I already used my Code for Me and my Family. I bought 6 tickets for Korea. no regrets, but to be fair to members of U2.com from the Philippines who already used the presale code for 4 tickets I'm hoping they will release another presale code here because this is not originally listed as part of the tour. and from the floor plan provided by Jick, GA is very limited. and from my experienced with SM tickets, Its very difficult to buy tickets from them if the tickets are in high demand.
  7. I'm ecstatic that the band is finally visiting the country where my parents emigrated from.

However, I think there's just one issue.

This venue is not located anywhere near Manila. It's situated 30 km north of Metro Manila in the province of Bulacan.

Apparently, the complex that contains the venue is surrounded by vast amounts of farmland. I'm under the impression that there's absolutely no form of public transportation from Manila to the Bulacan province.

So how will all the U2 fans in the Philippines ultimately get to the venue?

Shuttle Bus Service at designated pick up station.
  9. Another thing just crossed my mind.

It's my understanding that the Philippine Arena is the largest indoor venue in the world. However, as I mentioned before, floor space for large shows is quite limited at that venue.

Why couldn't the band's Manila show take place at the outdoor stadium located right next door to the arena?

That way the stage won't have to be shoehorned inside such a limited space.

They must be confident of getting a good attendance as the arena holds a lot more people than the stadium does. Katy Perry managed 34k so that would be more than the stadium could hold.
  11. It might be the other Way round so the small Floor helps they will regeoup all Seats to lower tiers And it will Still Look decent
Or Maybe the weather is a factor?
