1. But the Marquee, Paris 87 and MSG 87 were all pleasent surprises.
  2. Yes, these were good surprises. I also do not believe we will have shows, which is why I would very much like and look forward to the TJT-17 home video. The Joshua Tree deserves something greatest, with "Streets",
  3. I finally managed to see the Berlin concert. I think it is shot wonderfully, it really captures the gig, which doesn't happen very often with official releases. I aggree that it could a bit lighter, but not more than just a tiny bit. As I wrote, it was really rather dark, but yeah, I admit, that this is a bit darker than I remember. Other than that, I love it. The slow cuts, the focus on the band...I was in the second row by the main stage and yes, my ego would be happy if I saw myself in the film, which I didn't and I am really happy that there is very little footage of fans. It is really a U2 concert...

By the way - a concert movie can be absoultely ruined by focussing more on fans than on the stage - Paul McCartney Back in the US (2002) and McCartney Live at The Red Square (2004) are absolutely unwatchable. I love Paul, but those videos are beyond ridiculous...the fans, plus there are like two cuts every second.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this release, I can imagine it might make me to go and buy a Bluray player, just like another U2 video made me buy a DVD player - I bought the Boston Elevation in 2001 before I had a player. I watched it at my friend's place back then. It was the first time I saw a DVD and the first time I heard the surround sound. I remember how blown away I was. I bought my first home cinema a couple of days later. So now, 19 years later, U2 might make me to buy a Bluray, which I thought I would never get. Well...
  4. Would love another 360 concert From the end of tour I’m sure they would of filmed a few

I also bought a DVD player to watch Slane's show
And I bought a blu-ray player to see the Rose Bowl

I watched yesterday, and I had the same feeling you had. I have no doubt that it will be something better (at least for me) than the Paris´15 show with those fans on stage
  6. In I go. Nifty that Elevation looks like the opener.
  7. TURN THE DAMN CROWD UP!!!
  8. When we getting this dvd announcement then? Tomorrow?
  9. ‘The more you know, the less you know’.

    Ruined. Cancel the DVD release.
  10. I know you are joking, but is it really an error? I love that line.
  11. I heard March 1. But this first Monday of a week would be most probable.
  12. It’s one he makes regular enough to not know. It’s always so jarring.
