But I don't hate it, and the music is quite beautiful. Edge and Adam's bass and guitar lines dancing around each other, with Daniel's atmospheric lap steel in the background... I like it. Yes, Bono's lyrics are cringy. But if I hated every U2 song that had cringy lyrics, I wouldn't like many U2 songs. Nothing in this song is worse than "Freedom = Baby's head" or "Cross the road like a little old lady".
I am also in your club about this song..... It's at least 10 times better than Wild Honey or GOYB or YATBTAM or Soon.

  3. I'm more disturbed by the fact that Edge unpacks it without being too careful. If I would have paid over 200 euros, I would have put the vinyls back in their sleeves gently haha 😄

Btw, he's mentioning that the live songs are from a couple of shows?

Which is correct, from the Fleet Centre.

A second link here for those who are blocked out. The background music is great. What is it?

He got it for free I think
  6. I still see people saying they're happy to be getting a complete "show.." it's far from it
  7. I think it's from Passengers: Original Unboxing Music 1

  8. clearly it was a bit of a play on words when using the word disGRACE. If taken literally it might have been a bit too much, but not even that far of. Of course it's okay to dislike a song, it happens even with U2 songs. I don't think the majority of the U2 fans dislikes this song or any U2 song at all. This forum might give that impression, but I doubt it's a good reflection of the truth. And I think that's a bit of a problem here, regularly U2 related things (including songs) are approached very negatively, or the other way around, way too positive. The nuance is missing often. I think this creates a bit of an unwelcome environment. Maybe that's just me, but with over 70.000 members the number of regular posters is very very small, very exclusive.
Apart from that I agree with what Dean already said.
