  1. Cause JT is in a league of it's own, together with AB (and Pop in my opinion, but many would disagree).
  2. I think JT and AB are the only albums that the band would feel like doing anniversary tours for. ATYCLB did have good commercial success and a few songs from it in particular are well loved but really JT and AB are the only albums that a large amount of music fans would consider as masterpieces.

    The band know time isn't on their side and the physical format doesn't make money anymore ,sure 2019 was supposed to be a rest year for them aswell a lot of people round here doubted they would tour TJT in Australia and Asia, I've no doubt if Live Nation came to them with a proposal of a series of gigs they would do them if not this year but 2021.

  9. it's only 20 years after and it's by far not as big as JT was. Also the 2nd part of the album doesn't have the best live songs and some songs of the first part are already overplayed. Maybe a small club tour for the 40th anniversary of Boy would have made more sense.

    100% agree with this, both those albums are masterpieces and their respective tours are what made those songs come to life. While I love ATYCLB and Pop, an anniversary tour based around those songs wouldn’t work imo. However, if there wasn’t a global pandemic a couple of club shows for Boy would’ve been a cool idea.
