Originally posted by LikeASong:Random trivia:as far as I know, Last Night On Earth is the very only song on U2's catalogue that got played at every single show of its tour and remained 100% confined there, not having appeared ever since (or before) in any other form.
There are many other candidates that almost fit the bill but all of them were performed at promo shows from the tour, or in-between random dates like festivals or radio/TV specials, or as snippets in subsequent tours. The only other four songs that come close are:
-Rejoice, which was played at almost every regular October tour show (missed just a handful of shows, plus the ones for which there is no setlist known), but it was played at two TV shows.
-Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, which was played at every Vertigo Tour show and hasn't appeared ever since, but it was premiered at some of the promo shows in late 2004.
-If You Wear That Velvet Dress, which missed only three dates at the very beggining of the Popmart tour and also was briefly snippeted at a Vertigo Tour show.
-Crazy Tonight, same case as SYCMOYO. It was played at every 360 show (even played twice in Barcelona2!) and hasn't appeared ever since, but it was premiered at some of the promo shows in early 2009.

I'm going to argue that Red Hill Mining Town counts! It's tour was 2017/2019 only.

While the "tour" thing could be argued because RHMT's album's proper tour happened in 1987, there is one little other thing: it got played at the London firebrigade show on July 7th, the day before the European leg of the 2017 tour started. But yeah, nice one, almost there!

...if we consider RHMT in 2017/19, then should we think about Acrobat in 2018? Admittedly, I don’t have the stats in front of me as I make this post.
