1. This is me at a show. Security is usually pretty friendly.
  2. Actually, I count 4 wireless packs in that picture, which is below my usual. So not enough!

  3. Actually, this is me immediately after the 2019 Saitama show.

Never chicken out on taping because of security.
  4. I don’t think SJ will quite get away with wearing that unfortunately.
  5. Well, give 10-20 years to work up to that.

My point being...it can be done. I've gotten that rig/setup past full metal detectors with walk-thrus and wands here in the US.
  6. Wow that is impressive! I have a Shure MV88 that I want to use whenever I go to a concert in the future. I'm sure I won't have any major issues but i was thinking of hiding the mic and cable in my shoe. This is connecting to an Iphone 11 btw.

It's a starter rig but you'll still get significantly better results with a recorder + external mics.
  8. Damn! That's quite the setup, I wonder how well a wheelchair would work with that setup?
  9. I actually did the wheelchair back in 2007 for a couple of Springsteen shows.

I found it limited my ability to adjust things, and also lowered me (not great for reception). Back then, I had the wheelchair so I could use my 8-10 track soundcard with my laptop. These days, the Zoom F8 by itself is an eight track recorder, and much more portable. So ultimately, the wheelchair was more headache than it was worth.
