1. Of course I understand the "failure" that was at the time, but is it necessary to ignore it so much?
  2. I have even noticed that younger or "new" fans prefer discotheque lol
  3. I would love to see how they feel or react if the video for Discotheque gets milions of views in a short time. More than We Are The People for example.

I know it's not gonna happen, but it would be fun I guess
  4. It would be alright wouldn't it. Discotheque was a hit. A big one at the time, top 10 in the US and number 1 in the Uk. It should be back in the set list.

Dont think they would even notice or care tbh.
  6. They would have to promote it on their socials. I bet most casual fans wouldn’t even know half these videos have been uploaded to YouTube.

You're spot on most fans wouldn't know about them uploading old videos to YouTube they probably assume they were always there, I only found out that "All I want is you "was never officially on YT until recently probably one of their best ever videos and singles.
  8. Their whole YouTube and Spotify is a mess.
  9. The only reason they don’t have a bigger social media following is because, well, they’re simply not active on social media. Other than advertisements for box sets or upgraded music videos, we haven’t had much. When they’re on tour they’re more active (JT had a photo or 2 during the concert, 360 had clips of rehearsals/plane rides and IE era probably had the most posts with the most variety.)
  10. Getting Discotheque trending..that would be kind of awesome. Shit, get it to chart again, even better..25th anniversary coming up🤔
  11. This is probably outside people's taste but, What if the Original Soundtrack album was officially a U2 album, and they did a small arena tour in 95' to play these songs, but also mixed in songs with Zooropa and a few AB songs. Put together with a visual aspect for each song. It was be so far fetched but completely a unique experience.

    A setlist like;
    Zoorapa
    Always Forever Now
    Numb
    Lemon
    Your Blue Room
    A Different Kind of Blue
    Acrobat
    Slug
    Dirty day
    United Colours
Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car
    One Minute Warning
    Beach Sequence
    Stay
    Miss Sarajevo
    Plot 180
    Love is Blindness
    The Wanderer

Probably a weird idea but its those damn thoughts you get sometimes
