Those lyrics accurately describe a portion of my daily Facebook feed where some of my connections post nothing but political views - left, right, green and everything in between. Like Alice Cooper, I wish they'd just shut up and rock - tell me about what new or old music they're listening to, what they're doing, what gigs they've seen etc. I think you're reading way too much into them if you're thinking it's Larry having a protest at Bono.

U2 has had gaps between albums for 30 years, so now Larry is fed up with that? I think of all of them, he'd be the one who wouldn't mind. Those lyrics could apply to anyone who has multiple social media accounts these days. Someone is giving dear Alice the thespian too much credit. And ideas for tabloid articles. Maybe the boys should go on Dr. Phil to hash out their issues
  3. U2 don't really break up they take breaks from themselves which is probably the secret to their longeivity. I think this extended break will do U2 some good and will come back when they are ready.

I just hope they tour again because it has been five years this month since they play my local city (Toronto).
  4. anyone knows what U2 is collaborating with the Kale guy? is he a producer or musician?
  5. He’s an Indian DJ. He remixed “Pride (In the Name of Love)” in 2019 for U2’s “The Eternal Remixes” EP. the recent photo that was posted on social media of U2 with Kale was taken when U2 ended their last tour in India.

Yep, and I hope they do come back. As great as it was to see JT songs live, if I'm ranking my U2 Concerts, that one is at the bottom. Would not be happy if that was my last one!
  7. Could this be the opening of the Euro 2021?
  8. Link doesn't exist anymore.
  9. I can't believe this shit is still getting a run!

I said recently in this forum that whoever believes that this whole saga didn't/won't/hadn't either ruined their reputation or at the very least left a stain on said reputation is kidding themselves.

PS : We aren't talking about some obscure internet rag either , this is The Washington Post. There are 275 readers comments on this trash and more than 80% of those comments absolutely unload on Bono more so than u2. The band get a fair bit of praise curiously.
