new album "The king of limbs" will be released on Saturday 19th here
only mp3/wav for now .. no cd

With In rainbows maybe, but there's nothing revolutionary with this. 7/9 Euros for digital download is actually expensive.

Also, I don't think it is necessary to waste resources on creating compact discs anymore. Alot of us use mp3 players now and If we really want the material on disc, we can do it ourselves.

It's not the act of King of Limbs that's revolutionary, it's them as whole. Everything in combination with everything. Tons of artists are on their own labels nowadays, but nobody really as huge as Radiohead, and nobody wakes up on a Monday and is like, "Oh by the way, there'll be a new album of ours in about six days or so." No build up, no previous announcements, nothing. Just..."Hey guys. Here's a new album."

i still prefer physical things .. and the cd should be in shops around the end of march (rumors say on 29)
I know. I know. I'll probably buy the physical disc, too.
Although I never bought NLOTH on CD! My U2 collection looks somewhat incomplete.
