I remember that I lived that tour being on the other side of the world, I was in school, using wi-fi, watching every live show of every concert on that tour, I lived that tour virtually but it leaves me with nice memories

I actually cannot believe U2 went ahead with that pre-Copenhagen version of the show. They're usually such perfectionists, I was surprised by some of the decisions they made. For me, "Acrobat" really elevated what was a pretty mediocre setlist. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the 1 show that I saw in 2018 (Chicago Night 2), but it's definitely towards the bottom of the U2 shows I've seen. I really hate the broken down version of SBS they did. That song needs to be balls to the walls!
As far as I'm concerned, that tour didn't really become great until the last handful of shows. It was missing too many of those BIG U2 MOMENTS, like Streets, Bad, 40, etc.

I think the initial idea about changing the set was all about the cities thing. Stay, landlady, wild horses and TUF were the only ones in the running at first and then it was zoo station when they were going to Hamburg but I don’t think zoo station would have hung around if they weren’t going back to Berlin and I don’t think the fly and certainly not dirty day would have been included if it wasn’t for Berlin being the tour finale.
