Performance

Overall a pretty great performance with Bono in good voice despite a few slightly rougher moments. He sounds especially great on the new material as well as during the acoustic set where he uses his magic soft tone and falsetto very nicely. A few older songs feel a bit half-arsed though, I must say. The band is doing pretty well with some greater songs and some not so great ones, especially 'New Year's Day' was a mess at one point.

One of many highlights at this show was a very aggressive and energetic 'Bullet the Blue Sky' with great belts by Bono, a superb guitar solo by the Edge and a wonderfuly refreshing snippet of West Side Story's 'America'. Both encores are fantastic with an awesome 'Discothèque' kicking things off and Bono going all out on 'With or Without You'. After another great run of things, 'One' features many great embellishments and Bono letting the crowd taking over many o' times before closing the show with a very fitting performance of The Beatles' 'Rain'.

Sound

The sound is a bit tinny so I'm not giving the full five stars; very enjoyable nonetheless.

Audience

One of those cases where it's really tough to give a fair rating for the crowd as I'm listening to an outdoor recording but the participation during the hits is quite good so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and will say they're doing really well!
- after 'All I Want Is You' and 'Staring at the Sun' I can only confirm this statement as these lads are singing along really nicely here, even cheering loudly after the latter! During Edge's karaoke song they even take over for our beloved guitarist.
