S1 e30, "The End of the World" (May 9, 1958).
MARIOBRUS asked to help him out with mastering his Rome 2 recording
which turned out to be heavily clipped (i.e. distorted high volume levels).
But then the iZotope RX 5 "De-clip" worked miracles and after that
I only did some post production in my good-ol' PristineSounds.
DUE to the clipping problems, the recording is obviously not brilliant
but certainly listenable. It has a lovely deep bass and good clarity
despite still some distortion in the loudest parts.
Audience noise, whistles & comments are sometimes quite near-by, but
all in good Italian spirit...I guess!
THANKS to Mariobrus for trusting me with his recording, and
special THANKS to the guy who introduced me to the RX 5...

- Finally my time to share a recording after all there years
downloading all of your recordings. Hope you will enjoy it.
I just wish to share with all fans out there
- Great to be able share for once:-) MKK
- mastering notes: recording transfer from 1 channel (16/96kHz)
to 2-channel mono (16/44.1kHz) in accordance with taper MKK.
I applied some equalization in the low and mid range to obtain
a more balanced sound. Still quite distant and full with a severe
stadium echo, near-by clappers and occasional screams and/or whistles.

"We were going to call it Miami, but we ended up calling it Pop because what we really trying to look for was the meaning and real artistic value of things that people might overlook. They might not get why it was cool, why it was interesting. A lot of the visual artists int he 60s did the same in the Pop art form, taking images that most would take for granted as shallow, and they would find a way to shine a light on them and make them beautiful and give them meaning and depth."
- The Edge on calling the Pop album not Mami, 2020

During the ZooTV Tour U2 introduced a new stage concept called the B-stage. It allows for more intimate and stripped-down performances of songs, later used by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Coldplay amongst others.
