Rubbish, there are no bad songs on AB. And if there were LIB and Acrobat would definitely not be them.

  3. That's your opinion.

  4. And now we change the title of the site to:

'Share your passion, but remember, it's my fucking opinion!'

Now it's my turn to tell you all about how much I think there are no weak tracks on Original Soundtracks, including Elvis Ate America, and anyone that tells you different, tell 'em they're dreamin'! And if you don't accept it as fact, then you're obviously not thinking right.
  5. Now who's gonna bash Lyndon for presenting his opinion as a fact? (but I agree with him )

  6. But it is fact. That's a fact, that's the truth and here's the worst yet!

  7. As always, I'm sure there are some people who disagree, but the general consensus among U2 fans will be that Acrobat and LIB are not the worst songs on AB.

It would also be possible, to a degree, to argue objectively that they're not bad songs either (or at least bad U2 songs), but I'm too tired to go there now.

  8. At the end of your post on previous page, you didn't write "IMO". And that's ok, because post of every each of us represents his own opinion.

    IMO, that's my opinion.

What I like about this song is that it sounds nothing like anything from Achtung, and is my third-favourite song from the album, behind So Cruel and Tryin' To Throw Your Arms...it's sort of like Being Born, something that U2 haven't really done before. A handful of albums stand out to me from the early to mid-90s and Achtung is well within those.

The way the band are playing it live is the way I thought it should have been done all along.

Love Is Blindness is fantastic and has an epic sound about it, towards the end - it sounds like the end of the world. The solo at the end, sounding like Edge is going nuts with his guitar being shouted at by Bono in the studio ''Go for your life!!!'', and literally running around and doing an old 80s get-down-on-your-knees-and-go-for-it approach is awesome.

That said, the only solo that has got me since is the one in Unknown Caller and Moment of Surrender, and bought me back to that sound.
