1. today 3 years ago. my 11th concert of the 360 tour.
coming back to Munich for the x-th time, refreshing old memories and making new ones that will last forever, U2-ish and personally what a night, what a show. one of the best concerts ever celebrating it with watching the bootleg video tonight

Celebrate it well! One of the top 2010 shows for sure I have the multicam show burned in DVD, I wonder who sent it to me back in the day.......
  3. 5 years ago today...this show is so good..the remastered boot sounds simply amazing...

This just might be the best audience recording on this site......give it a blast today....

OK...I will give it "a blast" today
I have NEVER listened to this show but I thought I just found the best audience recordings of the site with MLK’s Turin 1+2…

And I will let you know

You will not be disappointed ....its a great show and a great listen...
  6. I was there it was nothing special, but still pretty decent show.
  7. Sound quality is indeed excellent, especially considering the outdoor conditions

Not sure how this remaster compares to the original recording - I do have it, but it is
currently unavailable to me. To my ears the remasters is a bit "metallic" and "harsh"
at points - in contrast with MLK's recent Turin recordings, which are both clear and
    warm

Anyway, thanks for pointing my attention to it. It definitely deserves a place on my iPOD,
not in the least because of the great setlist...

(September 2010...the start of my final BA year
...looks like I was reading Descartes, Leibniz and the Port Royal Grammaticians on that
    Wednesday night, September 15... )

EDIT: at points you hear technical comments from The Edge (e.g., before Vertigo: "No power,
    no power" - sure it's not a covert iem-matrix ???
  8. Harsh and Metallic. Two perfect words to describe most of these remasters that appear all the time.
  9. Absolutely , Turin is indeed a fine recording ...I think the slight difference with this Munich recording , compared to Turn '15 , is how sharp the sound is...everyone is blended in nicely IMO. Adam and Larry sound full..not low and muffled.....Edges guitar is indeed sharp but I like that , and Bono sounds great..plus the setlist is awesome..

You might want to check out MLKs other recording from Europe 2010..Paris and Vienna come to mind...I haven't listened to them in some years though , but I will look at the Paris show again this week...

Turin sounds a bit flat to me in comparison with Munich '10...Turin '15 is hands down though the best recording as far as 2015 shows . I didnt think anything could top Chicago N3 , but Turin N1 is the best so far .
  10. Listen to UTEOTW.."Ring those bells Edge" Edges harmonics are crystal clear......I remember playing this show over my system , in my backyard.. quite a few of my friends actually thought this was a release lol
  11. ...but what about these Edge remarks? I can't help thinking that these could have come only from an iem...
