1. I like the acoustic version!
  2. Acoustic > single version because it's not an engineering debacle. EDIT: I actually like this version WAY better than the other version lmao. Damn. It just sounds more complete and better arranged.

Reminds me of those old school random acoustic tunes they did in their early days. Party Girl, a couple hints of it on October, etc.

We're also getting closer and closer to a U2 version where edges guitar part in the chorus is how Kygo arranged it.

No... it looks like we're getting closer and closer to instrumental ukulele version... or acapella version...
  4. At first I found it laughable how many versions are being released. But in this age of playlists, I can get behind the idea of releasing all the mixes and let the fans decide which one they like. I guess lol.
  5. I, personally, am anxiously anticipating the "barbershop quartet" version.

A better song is a better song. They totally goofed on the "single" version or whatever the hell you want to call it. This sounds less obtuse. It makes sense.
  7. Ok I have to say I really like the acoustic version! Both musically, and also vocally...Bono's more restrained, which is a nice change to the original - and then he goes full on mode in the end.

Also - a tiny addition to the lyrics? There is an "if" added now

BTW - just noticed that on the video Bono gives the finger to something/someone at 1:56 what is this about?

He appears to mouth "fuck off" as well...
  10. I dont mind it..... I quite like the bridge on this version. I like how Bono goes from restrained to full Bono at the end.
  11. I actually like that they release a bunch if mixes, HOWEVER- This just proves they really need to release singles!! A cd, 12", or even just a download with all the remixes in one place. Is that too much to ask?
