  1. I want them to announce their rescission after the last dublin gig. Would be for good, no more dad rock, please. I will always love these guys, but this is just not U2 to me.
  2. Now, give me some hate!

I def understand what you’re saying. I just can’t let go though
  4. Why don't you reserve judgement until you see the show, listening in or watching the set online obviously isn't the same. It's a u2 show not a standard concert, think of it like Popmart or Zoo Tv as opposed to Vertigo or Lovetown.
  5. Let them be free! They could have twenty more families, and they couldn't spend their money. It's disgusting, but that's how it is. Music wise, well you might judge for yourself.

No, i'm sorry, but i see an old fart, who can't remember his own lyrics. I don't have to see such guy, read his own stuff from a screen, and even fucks it up then. If you like it , it's on you.

Edit: I'm german, if there is a language barrier, please tell me. I know, my english sucks
  7. So much energy, no teleprompter(At least, bono didn't use it.).

  8. No hate, just puzzled about 2 things
    1. how you think you can truly judge a show you did not actually attend.
    2. why are you even here on this forum if they are "disgusting" and if you "dont need to see an old fart who cant remember his own lyrics". Spend your time and energy on a new, young band, you appreciate and enjoy.

As an aside, from someone who attended both shows in Montreal the past 2 days, last night was good, tonight was incredible - super energetic, Bono feeding off the crowd, his voice in top form and the band clearly having lots of fun. NO going through the motions here. Just an amazing show.

Well, i was a fan since ca.94'. My first live show was in 97' in my hometown. Since then, i saw U2 in stadiums and in arenas(Which i never liked, U2 are a stadium band to me.). Honestly, i'm just sad where they are going thru. Since, lets say 00', they try to please the masses. It worked out for some time, but i never liked it. These days, U2 are not even a shadow from theirselves, to me. But, you know, you always hope something strange like POP happens again. I't never happened.
  10. Please read it with a german accent! I'm so sorry.
