I don't see why it would be a nightmare to get tickets for shows in Japan. We'll probably get u2.com codes..

I think you are partially correct. I think it will be more like 3-4 total. They have played a couple of Experience songs in a stadium already. So something like:

Your The Best Thing (full band like on TJT 17)
    Little things (like TJT 17)
Every Breaking Wave (a full band version would be great in a stadium)
    and 1 other Innocence song.

My "guess" is this tour would be JT/Rattle and Hum heavy to tie in for anniversary purposes. In no particular order:

    Streets
    Still Havent Found
    WOWY
    Bullet
    Running
    RHMT and/or Heartland
    God's Country
    Exit
    One Tree Hill
    Desire
    Angle of Harlem
    Love Comes To Town
    Hawkmoon (maybe)
    God Part II (maybe)
    All I Want Is You

    Then your encore traditionals:
    Vertigo
    Beautiful Day
    Warhorse
    Warhorse

Something like that. Obviously not all of it. But a selection similiar to that.

Just a wild ass guess! LOL

Well, you'll be fine if you live in Japan and speak Japanese or have Japanese friends who will be available the second the presale starts. Otherwise, good luck. (I've been to Japan so I know what I'm talking about.)
  5. Sorry double post

Just tried to get tickets for the Tokyo Show of Bon Jovi...

No problem, you can switch the page to english, payment credit card
it seems that it's more convenient nowadays
  7. Mix of SOI and SOE with hits sprinkled ? Lovetown anniversary - more rattle and hum ?

26 since zoo ended in those places. More achtung or zooropa?
  8. Happy for Aussie fans, this news is great !! Enjoy !!!
  9. Really hope this pulls off, would be some trip to do.
  10. Warhorse is a great track.

Hi Greg, I wouldn't say touring arenas in Australia is not financially viable. Plenty of big name artists have had arena tours in recent years.

If you didn't see it, here's a list of artists that have performed at Sydney's Qudos Arena (formerly the SydneySuper Dome).

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_entertainment_events_at_the_Sydney_Super_Dome

Touring arenas in Australia can be profitable. The reason I feel that we've been shafted in Oz is not that an arena tour would be unprofitable, but because Live Nations share of those profits would be smaller.

In the US Live Nation has a near monopoly in concert promotion, & actually owns many, many of the arenas. It therefore takes in a greater proportion of any profits. Hence why we have four tour legs in the US, while we in Australia - where Live Nation's piece of the profit pie is much smaller - get nothing.

    Damn that Live Nation contact!

Can't ignore us forever I hope. I'd love an arena tour, but would happily take a stadium tour.
