  1. is there a chance for a second show in Melbourne?
  2. Singapore announced but still only one show for Melbourne, what gives? Given past history, this isn't what I expected.
  3. Yep, as soon as Singapore was announced I thought they'd announce Melbourne. The presale for Singapore starts on Monday, so they've just about already run out of time if they wanted the Melbourne presale to be on the same day I suppose. Seoul is getting pretty close to a sell out, though not sure they'd try for another show there. Don't really want to finish the tour in a half empty arena I guess.
  4. Will be disappointed if there’s no second show. Going with family on the first show so i wanted to go to second show with a mate and catch up with other u2 fans...
  5. There appears to be only single tickets left and most are Cat-1 or VIP. That would suggest they aren't confident about a second night selling well. Would have thought a Saturday night would be popular.
  6. 57 tickets left. How has a second night not been announced? Even if its a slower seller they've still got 5 months..
  7. The only way I could there not being a 2nd show is if there’s a stadium availability issue, but you’d have thought they’d worked that out months ago. Maybe they need U2 out of there by Sunday to get ready for some kind of other event? I doubt it, but that’s literally the only reason not to do it. Even if they “only sell” 40,000 tickets or something (unlikely), that’s still better than sitting on their butts on a Saturday night paying hotel costs for the crew, etc.

If they announce a 2nd show, it will most likely sell about 70–80% the first day or two, and then the rest of the tickets will trickle over the next 5 months. That’s already the case with Adelaide and Perth, so what’s the big deal? They’ll probably announce it soon, maybe wait until after some of these other shows go on sale.
  8. Melbourne 2 is still likely to happen. Stadium is available, and booked should they want to use it. And we're being told it will likely happen. But there are some logistics there that have to be resolved first. And that means a final decision won't likely be made until next week.

    Great!

    Thanks for sharing!

    What about Seoul 2?

  10. Tickets in Japan aren't even going on general sale until July 20, so the tour will be in "sales" mode for some time yet.

Intrigued by this comment, as I thought the major logistics were all settled, .e.g. they are there the night before, the stadium is reserved and there's a two day gap until the Adelaide show. Not doubting you, just struggling to contemplate what of significance could be holding things up.
