Dortmund,Rotterdam and Paris all have video bootlegs, surely someone wouldve taped at least one of these gigs?
Or was the Point Depot security notoriously difficult?
I can remember a video of the 26th being on someone's list back at the time but he was notoriously difficult to deal with. But what he said he had, he had. At least two of the missing uk war shows were in his collection as well. Those of us who've been trading tapes since the early 80's will always be able to think of stuff which has never made an appearance on the internet. As for security I walked into a lot of venues in the 80's with a recorder in my coat pocket and never got a second look from anyone.

  3. Yeah i wasnt demanding where the video boots are,Lovetown is well down on my fav tours, just these 4 gigs have such a stature amongst U2 fans its hard to believe the lack of video considering all stuff thats accessible nowadays.
I wonder if the band have much in rhe vaults.

There's video bits (without sound) of the concert (31st?) in the Sky Down documentary and a bit of '40 with sound, so I'm assuming they have at least 2 of the 4 shows on video complete in their vaults.

Just guessing here, but U2 wanted to "run away from R&H" so desperately that I'm guessing they didn't want another video/concert film with the long hair/cowboy hats and Hendrix-style solos
