Too dark for a modern U2 show? I think they're plenty capable of pulling off a dark moment; they tackled Acrobat for crying out loud.

The transition from SBS / Raised By Wolves / UTEOTW is one of the darkest parts of a U2 show I've ever seen lol, Twilight's manageable

They're different kinds of darkness imo.
Acrobat and I&E's terror suite are "standard darkness".
Twilight is Sleep Like A Baby Tonight's kind of darkness, if you know what I mean.
  3. Why are Twilight and Sleep Like A Baby dark?
  4. Sleep Like A Baby is about abuse and suicide, that's what makes it a dark song to me anyway.
  5. Yeah I figured it was about suicide, wasnt sure tho thats why I asked
  6. Some think love is blindness is a love song, But it’s about a guy doing a terrorist attack. Hunting song, one of their best. Like dark U2 songs

Is it really about a terrorist attack, I thought it was about Edge's ex wife/girlfriend?
  8. Elevation
  9. I guess like a lot of Bono's lyrics there are multiple interpretations
  10. Love is blindness is about Edge’s failing relationship with his wife at the time. If you read on Wikipedia it mentions ‘ the song describes a failing romance mixing personal themes with imagery of metaphorical acts of terrorism’. So not about a terrorist attack just using terrorism metaphorically in regards to the relationship which makes sense.
