As had I. At a certain point in the show you can feel the shift from theatre to gig. You can sense it from Bono too. You are in for a treat. I was almost moved to tears twice and just sat smiling ear to ear for the whole thing.

Quite the turnaround for one someone as jaded as I have been for some years now.
Yeah it means a lot coming from a true critic like you. I'm SO pumped for this show now I'll try to record a full video of it in case they shelve the video from this project like many others.

Just enjoy it. Something just triggered in me about his age, the stories and the music. It is now just fact that these opportunities are dwindling throw in the format and the small theatre venue and it really felt special. Also the only Dublin show I can recall that felt a little bit more special because it was actually in Dublin.

Hell yeah. I hadn't seen this much of a consensus among the fanbase since the I&E tour started in 2015 when everyone -regardless of their opinion on SOI- agreed it was a well thought and well executed show, etc. I'm really glad we have the chance of spending such a powerful couple of hours with Bono in a much more intimate setting than usual with all U2 related things.
  4. GA mafia strikes back! 🤣
  5. Yep I'll stay in the pub.
  6. No! No matter if you accept it or not; the numbers were written on the hands by the crew of Bono. This is in case Bono will be signing books (before or after the show). Maybe the limit it to 50 people, so the first 50 people who came to the venue got the number. I know this from one from the U2tour.de team.
  7. Yeah I walked past and spoke to a chap there. It was organised by the crew. Highest number I saw was 58.
  8. Are they still handing out numbers? I saw that the tweet was deleted.

  9. Just be as loud as you want except during WOWY. I’ve encouraged everyone I’ve met to do so before the Berlin gig and Bono was quite moved as the audience already exploded to COBL right at the beginning. It took him 3 attempts to continue and have people sit down again after Streets. I think it’s more fun for us and him this way

Overall in Berlin Bono was much more relaxed and obviously there were much more fans in the audience compared to Dublin 2 days earlier.
