Performance

Bono starts the show in strong voice and keeps nailing powerful belts and studio phrasings with ease. 'Seconds' sounds fantastic with a nicely extended intro, superb harmonies and multiple breathtaking moments by Bono. The penultimate showing of 'Indian Summer Sky' isn't only tight but features more powerful vocals and belts. To prevent myself from yapping too much, the first 30 minutes sound absolutely incredible and Bono nails everything and beyond while the band are playing super tightly as well.

Unfortunately, from 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', Bono seems to weaken severely, his voice giving out badly on parts of the song. While the next two songs go smoothly (mostly because Bono dodges most challenging parts), 'Bad' is the final turning point where Bono blows his voice out completely. Luckily, this also seems to be the low point of the show as Bono manages to sound at least decent for most of the rest of the show (apart from the second verse of 'New Year's Day').

Audience

Great audience that are constantly clapping along and cheering after or even in between songs. Bono mentions that they had to wait outside in the rain and thanks them so kudos for them to not let that distract them from participating during the show!

Overall

While the band and the first 30 minutes in general are quite good, Bono's voice really takes a dive afterwards and doesn't manage to come back entirely for the rest of the main set. The encore is fun with a solid but not as crazy 'Party Girl' and the band in general sounding good.

Highlights: Seconds, Indian Summer Sky, Wire, 40
