  1. So I just watched the video of Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on stage, and I have to say I have no idea why people are complaining. Most people would argue that this moment is and will be the highlight of the entire tour. I mean, what other person would they be able to bring up on stage other than random fans? Hopes of Lykke Li showing up to duet The Troubles have all but evaporated, and sorry Europe you don't have anyone really worth bringing up on stage. People know how often Jimmy Fallon hosts U2 on his various shows, so it's a very special moment for U2 to host Jimmy Fallon on one of their shows.

    Angel of Harlem isn't one of my all-time favorite songs, but the fact they got Jimmy Fallon and The Roots puts this performance way up there to me. They'd have to play Acrobat or extended Kite or super extended Bad to match this.
  2. Bring up the Editors in Europe. Heh maybe not, they're well known.

    @ahn

    Or 'Miracle Drug' or 'California'.

    Make California a setlist staple, or at least on rotation for slot 2. And have Miracle Drug on rotation with/replace COBL.

    You may never believe it, but I listened to Gone, If You Wear That Velvet Dress, and Wake Up Dead Man several times today. All of these I feel would make for great e-stage songs to bring in rotation.
  4. I keep on hoping they'll perform "Electrical Storm" or "The First Time" someday

    Great stuff Pedro! Glad you loved your first U2 show! Yeah my ears are still ringing too despite the ear plugs I wore. It was loud.

    I also could tell the GA is not the best place for good sound, as others have noticed too. It's good though.

    My next show is Sunday and I'm going to the seats this time. How is the sound there compared to the GA level? Anyone know?
  6. When I had seats, I found the sound similar to GA (maybe even better since GA was a bit too loud, so you had some distortion at times). I think the general consensus is that the sound is great everywhere, slightly increasing in quality as you go higher up because that's where the sound array is located.

    Sounds promising. I'll definitely look forward to it (while dancing even more than Thursday ).
  8. Caved in and got tickets for Sunday!!
  9. How cool was Larry during angel of Harlem?
  10. Bringing up Jimmy Fallon could be a highlight of the tour? Is someone smoking mind-altering substances?

  11. Like him or not he is a genuine U2 fan and I'm sure, regardless of his fame, it was an amazing moment fir him.
