There's a brief excerpt from Pride that's labelled as "Boston '87". Since the documentary was filmed at the end of May (around the Modena shows), it would be strange that it features footage from the September Boston shows - so I assume it's wrongly labelled footage from the Worcester shows. Worcester is around 75 kms away from Boston so I can understand the mistake, but my point is: they were already filming the Joshua shows in video (and with a very similar format to R&H) way before the third leg? That means there's a lot of lost proshot footage from the 1st and 2nd leg, sitting in someone's vault
yeah it sounds like Worcester 1987-05-03 to my ears .
  2. Same here. So not only the footage is mislabelled, but also the fact that WORCESTER FOOTAGE EXISTS So they were filming some (or all) shows prior to developing the idea of doing Rattle And Hum. God knows how much that footage might be worth to fans nowadays...

  3. That is my video! The other one I uploaded at the same time of the R&H premiere is the footage that they bought from me for "From The Sky Down"...

Sorry, what? U2 purchased footage from you?
  5. Correct.

7mins in or so...Two shots from the above are in the movie when they discuss R&H.

Got paid and my name is in the credits.

  6. That's awesome!
  7. I'll take it!
  8. Oh man That's an incredible story. One day I'll ask you more about this. Wow.
  9. these clips rock!!!! just an awesome adventure to work your way through this topic. yes this footage is exceptional, as is the singing and playing, I echo the sentiment of a dream release of a lovetown show someday. I have made my decision, U2 is absolutely a top 5 BAND of all time...and to me that is they are among the only two other unquestionable top 5 of all time, the Beatles and the Stones. Our bands live ability/presentation is a major factor here...springstein?...give me the JT to AB leap of faith he made...Beatles, Stones, U2....the rest is up to you....
  10. shit Zeppelin...that's the 4 - Beatles, Stones, Zepp, U2...wow, that's it. that's 4 of the 5, any challenge is futile. I think
  11. So the meeting of the band video in Dec 87 was mine, and the R&H premiere footage in 88 was mine...What two pro-shot shows you think I want released? (Dec 19/20, 1987) I would kill to have these two complete shows in HD since they are just a few of the shows that were filmed and could benefit from a HD transfer.

You can hear my friend ask Bono to play the Christmas Song right as they were leaving the hotel for the show. And Bono admitted it was a good idea...
