1. Yeah you're absolutely spot on,those 2 songs would be amazing to hear again, and hopefully on a nightly basis again and not just the odd date.I'm not quite sure if Mofo would ever work again live as it was made for the Popmart gigs and i doubt they could replicate it on another tour.
Its cool you're a fan of HMTMKMKM as everyones opinion here counts, that's the beauty of these forums,i just can't get into it,like Discotheque which has some great riffs but for me it just misses the mark.
  2. Yeah... ZooTv is not only Sydney, Popmart is not only Mexico...I think it was a mistake to record the official dvd PopMart in Mexico, the DVD PopMart had to be recorded in Chile Argentina Sao Paulo Reggio Emilia or Leeds wonderful shows, people in Mexico was as still as static disappointing, the history has vindicated the Popmart for U2 concert most important of their lives was in Sarajevo. Amen
  3. I'm having a late night sit down with a fire and a vinyl and warm, dim lights.... gemütlich is the only way I can think of describing ut....

The back 4 tracks on Pop are among the most heartfelt and true and wonderful and soulful and deep of track runs on any album ever....

Good lad... pop is the best. Currently having a few beers and blasting it out on vinyl, Gone about to come on 👌👍
  5. The last great tour
  6. I've been listening to the Mexico bootleg this week and there were some brilliant performances.
  7. I know it’s been mentioned so many times but Last Night On Earth was such an amazing part of the Popmart set list. Cannot even imagine why it hasn’t been used since. Could have been replaced Zoo Station or The Fly in the E+I tour (even though I love both). I do agree with @miahewson, there were definitely some other excellent shows that could have been released in full

Agree, one of the tracks that best worked live on Popmart and a pity they didn't play it on tours after. (comment did give me an idea btw)
  9. Does anyone know what instrument is making the Mofo sequence on the live version?
  10. Sequencer
