Couldn’t agree more. It’s fresh. I thought it sounded nice. A good song is a good song, whether it’s a hit/warhorse or not.
  2. I liked the stripped down of it all too. Correct me if I’m wrong, but crazy that was first time for “Walk On” since Moncton (also crazy that was my one & only show & the last time for Walk On in 9 years.”
  3. Amen, Amen!!! Loved the songs♥️❣️ and putting the homeless @ center of attention 👍🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  5. Those were some nice performances. Although I'm not sure Edge particularly liked Bono's comments about the PPE donation being an exercise in self promotion.

But I thought Baby Please Come Home was much better and he was in his zone

The way he started off was indeed not very promising, but the 2nd half of Walk On already was a lot better. And Baby Please Come Home sounded surprisingly good.

Keep the hair short. (beautiful day, Electric Storm, invisible video)
The long hair has not worked post elevation tour and ages him badly. Drop the shades too.

He sounded fine... Adapted to walk on, fired up for Baby its christmas. Nex to Islington thats the best off tour performance in years.

Forget haters. If they didnt help PPE they would get crap for it as well so..

That's a surprisinly good vocal on Christmas, at some points he sounds a lot fresher/younger than recent And cool arrangement like this

I think you misunderstood what Bono said. He was making a generalisation about why celebrities make the public aware of donations and saying it's invariably done for self-promotion. He then mentioned some heated debate within the band about disclosing their PPE donation lest it be perceived as a case of self-promotion. I took him as saying the need to show and encourage support outweighed the risk of it being seen as gratuitous self-promotion. Perhaps Edge was in the "say nothing" camp.
  10. He sounded very good the fact there is no audience and it's for TV he has to pick his moments where he pushes his voice.

No I understood what he said, and the second half of Bono's explanation very much sounded like what you just explained. However the first part, when Bono said something along the lines of "Giving away money is good PR" sounded like they were only in it for the good PR. Even the host asked Bono to explain that comment. But the second half of Bono's answer did provide their reasoning much better.
