1. Anybody have some hi-def shots of the song credits that they can post?
  2. Has U2 covered their own songs now?
  3. Thanks. I was reading thru it, but I saw a few discrepancies from some pics posted on Discogs. It's barely legible, but it looks like in the liner notes that Bono retained sole lyric credits on Ordinary Love?

  4. Just listened to SOS for the first time. As many have said it's the deep cuts that shine here. My favorites are Stories for Boys, 11 O'clock Tick Tock, If God Would Send His Angels, Dirty Day, Invisible, Ordinary Love, The Miracle, and SYCMIOYO. There is a lot of city street dirt / wrong side of the tracks darkness, vulnerability, and grit here in these above reinagined songs and they are fresh. I also think this album is a smoke screen courtesy of The Edge while Larry heals, they get through the Sphere residency, and release and tour new rock music.
  5. Honestly, if some of these songs just had a basic electric guitar on them they would have been great. Take Bad for example. Raw vocal from bono not much instrumentation but with Edges electric guitar, would have been pretty damn cool. Same with EBW, can still go for the relaxed acoustic vibe but put single electric guitar on it.

Dig LOH and Little Things though. If Bono and Edge are going to do their own stuff and it all sounds like that, I’d listen for sure.
  6. Relax. Chill out. Enjoy. Cause if you do that you will! way better than a Sunday morning sermon. (Not that that requires much. Lol)

This is a very meditative and nostalgic

We & all? Stop speaking on behalf of myself.

No not the album "we were 'all' clamoring for" at all, far from it! ??

What’s are the odds that they revert to playing safe when new new album time comes around?
