Performance

Final show of the tour and the second show for me (after seeing them also on January 6th). A show never to forget. The band was really on fire and played a great setlist. No worries anymore about Bono's voice (lost it earlier during the first show in Amsterdam). I was standing front row in the middle because I was lucky that the arena door in front of me opened first. The setlist was amazing and started with Bullet, followed by Desire which lasted endlessly. The rest is history...And yes, Bad (my all-time favourite) was played great also!

Sound

I remember I was in Los Angeles for business. A long way from home (Holland). In a small music store I found the bootleg of this show (All I want is U2). The salesman played a few songs via the speakers in his store. I was immediately in love with this recording. It cost me 64 US Dollars, (for me a lot of money) but it was worth it. Great sound quality. Also because songs from January 6th (my earlier show) were added: The unforgettable fire, she's a mystery to me and WOWY
Recording: "All I Want Is U2" - 4.5 stars

Audience

I have seen them 20 times between 1987 and 2019, every tour once or twice. Difficult to say if this show is the best ever. Definitely as a pure Rock ‘n Roll show. But I have seen more unforgettable shows... Both audience and the band were on fire! We were together as ONE (and that song was not even written). The audience was singing all the songs by heart. The passion of the band and I felt the connection between band and audience. Now it was my turn to lose my voice for a few days.

Overall

My personal story of this show was the moment that Bono was standing in front of me during People get ready and showing his guitar. He was asking if "anyone can play this guitar?". Unfortunately I cannot play... The guy behind me came on stage and played like Bob Dylan.
Also the crew enjoyed the show. I remember the crew doing the lightshow were doing acrobatic stunts and threw paper airplanes at the end of the show (during 11 o'clock and out of control). Just for fun!
Unfortunately, all my pictures from this show were to dark (taken with an old fashion camera).
