I closed the page when I first read that but thought I’d come back and read his reasoning. He was actually there after all while I have only listened to the bootleg.

My favourite actually, maybe it was the general atmosphere pre-gig and the set was great too. My least favourite was London 1 on the E&I 2018 tour. Audience were lacklustre and the band seemed uninspired during parts of the show.
Contrary opinion from me, that first night at the O2 ranks as one of my favourite shows. I suspect my perspective is skewed by the sense of anticipation in having flown half way around the world for that show and being blown away by the technology. Not saying you're wrong; just acknowledging how we fans can see the same show and come away with entirely different perspectives.

That's a fair point you make, I had a much better time on the second night in London on that tour however.
  5. You can't judge a show solely by having listened to its bootleg. You need, at least, to get yourself a DeLorean DCM-12 and travel back to that show's weekend - not only the gig itself.

Then we'll start taking your opinions seriously.
  6. I don't feel like i've attended a really bad show. But both JT17 shows i attended are my least favourite. Amsterdam 2 and Brussels. I rate Amsterdam a tiny bit higher, because of ASOH, but i was very dissapointed they played I will follow instead of Little Things. Brussels was predictable. Nothing special that night.

EI could also be very predictable. I was at the point of selling my 2nd Amsterdam tickets, but then the AB-section arrived. I even bought tickets later for the final Berlin show.

And when you do that, you need to display a level of sanctimony as well.
  8. I never attended my favourite U2 show. I wasn’t even born. Can I only choose a least favourite show from those that I attended or were at least performed after September 1988 in order for my opinion to be valid?
  9. my choice is simple:
30/10/15 London - unbelievable poor audience
31/08/18 Berlin - quite boring setlist

Yay! Thanks to @Remy who got me tickets and insisted and insisted me until I bought the damn flights It was my first time in Amsterdam and I fell in love with your city. And the concert was absolutely superb. And last but not least we gathered quite some U2starters in a great photo finale
