  1. Just to quantify it, the song is 3:30 long. At 2:19 they start falsetto never to return. So 1/3 of the entire song is Edge and Bono going "ʸᵒᵘʳ ˢᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒᵒⁿᵍ ˢᵃᵛᵉᵈ ᵐʸ ˡᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶠᶠᶠᶠᵉ"
  2. Why do l just know that for all that has happened in the last two years that the word 'Science' in the song has a capital 'S'.

    I don’t see what point this is making whatsoever, repetition has been around in music forever. There are actually other lines added as well. In that final third that aren’t in the rest of the song. Really moot point.

    Just having a bit of fun - don't mind the song as much as others, but do find it funny the back third of it is Edge in falsetto.
  5. Gotta say I’m hoping this is just a one-off track for this movie…not enough Adam or Larry or even typical Edge in this one for my taste, and Bono doesn’t sound particularly great, IMO. But, as has been pointed out, probably just fine for a kids’ movie. They’re not gonna pull their balls out and slap them down on the table for a kids’ movie. Still debating whether I’ll see it. I do love both U2 and Tori Kelly, so we’ll see.
  6. For what is worth, I actually don't dislike the song. It's just a movie song. It's light-hearted. The kids really like it.

    Bono seems to have a cold - it's as if something is stuck in his throat. But then again perhaps this is just his voice now. He's a smoker (sadly), he's 61, and he's been singing and often shouting for the last 45 years.

    For the critics: if you like, I can try singing it! I'm sure this would put some perspective.
  8. It's fine/okay, if I never heard it again I'd not be too upset, if I heard it, I'd think 'it's passable'. I like the harmony at the end but really - it's no more than what/where it's ended up on.

    Wow. Is there any joy in your life? Also, if you're so smart then it isn't too hard to figure out what's going on in the song based on the movie's trailer. Bono's character seems to have lost a loved one which has made him a recluse. The characters go looking for him and WOAH! he realizes that singing and music rejuvenates him.

    Jealous of anyone who enjoys this song. I tried again and to me it’s absolutely dreadful.
