    You mean U218??

Songs of Innocence was not considered for chart position as it was free to download.... Otherwise it would definitely reach the number 1 in the album chart. Ultimately U2's album was eligible for chart position after a month and still reached to number 6. Ultimately that album was downloaded 25 million times.

The tasteful music lovers of UK have given their verdict with their wallet.

The British music press is so toxic and snarky. They hate anything that wasn’t made by a Gallagher. It brings me great joy to know that they are but hurt by U2’s enduring success.

  4. This ad is quite honest actually, saying it's an Edge project and a strike through 'new album'. I see the whole SoS thing more as his experiment to see how far he can deconstruct U2 in times of pandemic lockdown and match Bono's book

Agreed. Should have come out right before Christmas, after Bono's first run of theater shows was done.

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I just was looking at the liner notes and the copyright is "2022". Why not just put it out then if it was in fact completed and ready to go?
  8. Shortage of vinyl…
  9. Anyone buy the album on iTunes and have liner notes? I never get them anymore and I’m not sure why.
